Mid-Day Update: ASG Cookhout

Taking a two-second break from the campaign to give an update from the ASG Election Cookhout (sic). Turnout is down and my fingers are numb, both due to the overwhelming cold that has overtaken us. This is in sharp contrast to the 70-degree weather we had on Saturday, which we wish we could transfer to today.

We hit the trail at 7:00am this morning, passing out donut holes donated by Rick's Bakery and standing on the Union Mall and the corner of Brough Commons fighting the bitter cold and wind to talk to as many voters as possible. Today we're giving out platform/website handouts with Sudoku and crosswords. Now, we're back on the Union Mall helping pass out hot dogs and talking to voters. Fierce competition between the tickets....or friendly exchanges, actually.

Oh, and I voted at 9:06 this morning. Easy as pie, done and done.

Stay tuned for more later, sportsfans.
